A special tip-hardening process in combination with the slim bevel and the approved micro-ground finish increase the life-time and achieve excellent cutting results. Crease Scoring Rules

This rule simultaneously provides controlled creasing and defined scoring of the diecutting material. The small scoring bevel placed on top of the creasing geometry is additionally edge-hardened.

Platinum

Platinum coated, blade hardened, micro-finely ground die with the accurate height tolerance of a shaven line.

With 4000-5000 HV, the Platinum is five times as hard as an ordinary die-cut without influencing the flexibility. It cuts tougher materials with lower pressure and improved displacement properties. This means less dust and excellent results with increased durability.

700XD Hard

A body hardness of around 41HRc with 60HRc blade hardness in combination with a 42° cutting angle and a deeper hardening of the blade, increase the wear durability and thus the lifetime of the die forms for the majority of applications.

G12

The cutting die for demanding materials such as porous and easily breakable plastics. A very fine grind improves the flexibility compared to the standard grind. A slightly increased cutting hardness of 640HV (0.20mm deep) in conjunction with the body hardness of 380HV provides optimum durability with very good flexibility.

The extremely sharp blade requires less pressure when cutting and reduces the angel hair, dust and die residues.
